Kid Friendly Smoothies
I've been getting a lot of messages asking about Tay's daily smoothie recipes, so I thought I'd write another post with some more smoothie recipes that we've been enjoying in our home!
Mango Delight
- 3 small Champagne Mangoes
- 1 cup frozen Pineapples
- 1/2 frozen medium Banana
- 1 cup Coconut Water
Just Peachy
- 1 cup frozen or fresh Peaches
- 1/2 cup Mangoes
- 1/2 cup frozen Pineapples
- 1/2 frozen Banana
- 1 cup Yogurt
- 4 ice cubes
Watermelon Teaser
- blend 3 cups of frozen Watermelon
Piña Colada
- 1 cup frozen pineapples
- 1 Banana
- 1 cup Coconut Milk
- 1 TBSP Coconut shaving
- 3 ice cubes
Green Machine
- 2 cups Power Greens
- 1 Green Apple
- 1/2 Kiwi
- 4 slices of Ginger
- 4 TBSP Lemon Juice
- 2 Dates
- 1 cup Coconut Water
Power Berries
- 2 cups Power Greens
- 1 frozen medium Banana
- 1 cup frozen Mixed Berries
- 3 Strawberries
- 1 TBSP Chia Seeds
- 2 Dates
- 1 cup Almond or Cashew Milk
***You can always substitute the dates with Honey or Agave, but it is recommended that you wait until babies are at least 12 months old to introduce Honey
***Honey can contain spores of a bacterium called Clostridium botulinum, which can germinate in a baby's immature digestive system and cause infant botulism, a rare but potentially fatal illness.
The best thing about smoothies is that you really cant go wrong and the possibilities are endless! (For Beginner Tips, check out my previous post: Smoothies 101)
